Looking for a bedding store near you? Look no further than The Alaska Wood Shop. This king size bed (without the slates or plywood) was photographed in this configuration to show construction. The sides are made with 4x4's, the middle brace is 2x4, and it's very strong! all the metal brackets are 3/16 steel, with #8 lag bolts, the supports for the head board are 2x2 square metel. This bed is beautful, and durable at the same time, it was made to outlive the purchaser.

This bed has been redesigned to eliminate the metal plates on the corners. This bed can be built in any size, the post in the middle of the bed is optional for an additional cost. 

This bed is made entirely of cottonwood – we have used it for 3 years without any problems!
